Artists' Plates
The stoneware plates were thrown by Ooak Studio, who are members of the Rochester Square Ceramic workshop. Each of the artists in the collection was invited to work directly onto the ceramic, and as a collection, the plates present a stunning array of contemporary styles and ideas, realised in the most human of materials, clay. Each plate has a unique image and is signed on the underside.
For this project, Francesca Anfossi, Rochester Square and Sarah Staton, SupaStore have come together, sharing their resources, histories and networks to merge production and presentation.
The plates are priced at £380 each, the proceeds to be shared between the participating artists for their work, and with the hosting organisations to support their ongoing inventive offerings.
