In May 2026 we welcomed our new residents, a colony of honeybees, introduced and cared for by beekeeper Max Wilkinson.
Max has been involved with bees since the age of 10 years old and is passionate about sharing the joys and fascinating aspects of beekeeping, how bees live and work together and their role in the London ecosystem.
Max will also be running informal talks and demonstrations at Rochester Square throughout the summer months when the bees are most active.
