Hey Clay!

On March 2018 Rochester Square was part of Hey Clay! Festival, as part of the Get Creative campaing with the BBC. This a national celebration of clay which gives everyone the chance to unleash their inner potter at venues across the UK through free workshops and taster sessions.

During two days we offered  workshops for children and adults.

Re - Creation Day

Rochester Square organised its official public launch with 2 open days events on 24th-25th June 2017. We opened the space to the wider community, inviting their involvement in shaping the future of this space, exploring it’s potential through conversations about a central idea: the use of raw material in situ as a tool to respond to the ideas of recreation and play. re-creation day hosted 21 artists projects and an open air film screening for families. A programme of artists’ films, and various in situ projects: it was an opportunity to come together, to share food, time and ideas.
